Welcome to Home Info Tracker. By accessing or using our web application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our service.
Home Info Tracker provides a platform for users to log, organize, and manage information related to their household assets, maintenance schedules, and related documents. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.
To use certain features, you must register for an account. You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence to create an account and use Home Info Tracker. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
You retain all ownership rights to the data, documents, and information you upload to Home Info Tracker. By uploading data, you grant us a license to host, store, and process this information solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You explicitly agree not to upload any documents or records that contain highly sensitive, user-specific information, including but not limited to credit card numbers, Social Insurance Numbers (SIN), government-issued identification numbers, or any other confidential data you do not wish to be stored on an external server. You are solely responsible for reviewing and redacting such information prior to upload.
Home Info Tracker is designed as an organizational tool, not an archival vault. You are strictly prohibited from uploading the sole existing copy of critical or legally binding documents (such as original wills, property deeds, or unrecoverable tax records). You agree to maintain independent, secure physical or digital backups of all data uploaded to the platform.
Home Info Tracker accounts are tied to the original registering user and their email address. If you sell your property or move, you may export your data to provide to the new owner, but you may not transfer ownership of the digital account itself.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you choose to share your login credentials or grant access to family members, tenants, or contractors, you do so at your own risk. Home Info Tracker assumes no responsibility for data loss, unauthorized edits, or privacy breaches that result from you voluntarily sharing access to your account. In the event of a dispute over account ownership (e.g., between co-owners or separated spouses), Home Info Tracker recognizes the registered email address holder as the sole authorized owner of the account and its data.
Home Info Tracker offers both free and paid subscription tiers. If you choose to upgrade to a Paid Account, you agree to pay the fees associated with your chosen plan. Invoices are generated at the end of your billing term, and all payments are processed exclusively through PayPal. You will have 30 days from the invoice date to remit payment. Failure to pay within this 30-day period will result in the suspension of your account and its associated paid features. All payments are strictly non-refundable.
Home Info Tracker is operated, in part, as an ad-supported service. By registering for an account, you are automatically opted in to receive communications from Home Info Tracker, which may include platform updates, promotional deals, and third-party advertisements. You may opt out of these promotional communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the emails or by adjusting your account settings.
Regardless of your account tier or communication preferences, we strictly prohibit the use of your private, uploaded personal documents (such as receipts or warranties) for generating advertising profiles.

Our service may contain links to third-party websites, advertisements, or services that are not owned or controlled by Home Info Tracker. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that Home Info Tracker shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such third-party content or services.
All original content, features, and functionality of Home Info Tracker (excluding user-generated data) are owned by Home Info Tracker and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without written permission.
Home Info Tracker is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or data loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home Info Tracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use or inability to use the service. You are strongly encouraged to maintain independent backups of all critical home information.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Home Info Tracker, its affiliates, and its respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms and Conditions or your use of the service, including, but not limited to, your uploaded data and user-generated content.
Home Info Tracker shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargos, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to this platform shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario.
Class Action Waiver: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You expressly waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Home Info Tracker.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
